Overview

My client is a well respected professional services firm with an enviable client list. The Marketing Assistant supports the Business Development Director by coordinating day-to-day administrative activities, coordinating marketing campaigns, managing digital content, and facilitating effective communication across teams. This office-based role requires your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure the smooth delivery of all marketing and project-related initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, planning documents, reports, and marketing materials.
  • Manage invoices, purchase orders, and supplier documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
  • Organise team meetings, prepare minutes, and monitor progress on action items.
  • Support the organization of corporate events and business meetings, including logistics, registrations, catering and post-event follow-ups.
  • Upload, update, and maintain website content using CMS platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor social media content and engagement.
  • Liaise with PR and marketing agencies to support ongoing campaigns.
  • Assist with bid management and client onboarding, including preparing PQQs and competency.
  • Maintain and update the bid library, ensuring case studies, CVs, and supporting materials are current.
  • Oversee and follow up on outstanding customer invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Assist with digital marketing activities and manage the marketing database and mailing lists.
  • Attend workshops and conferences when requested.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of marketing collateral and office stationery.
  • Provide reception, housekeeping and general front office duties.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a marketing role.
  • Experience of working in a Business to Business (B2B) environment.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good understanding of digital marketing (i.e. social media, email campaigns).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience working in the property/construction or professional services sectors.
  • Conversant with design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva (training will be provided).
  • Experience using website Computer Management System (CMS) and email marketing tools, such as Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Education to A Level standard and also a marketing qualification such as a degree or CIM Diploma.
