Marketing Apprentice - The Sun

Start date: March 2026

Location: London

Course: Level 3 Marketing

Length: 24 Months FTC

Your Role

In the Customer Marketing team at The Sun will give you the opportunity to learn the marketing process end to end, with hands‑on, cross‑channel experience across campaign planning, execution and analysis of performance for one of the UK's leading news brands. Join us to learn how to drive tangible results, from creative ideation to campaign delivery working cross‑functionally across multiple teams.

Being an apprentice at The Sun

During your time with us you will earn an above living wage, receive full training, study towards a Level 3 qualification (with your course fees paid), receive mentoring/coaching from the industry’s best and any other equity you might need to fulfil your full potential.

Day to day you will
  • Drive business growth across acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns.
  • Define marketing briefs, understand objectives and manage stakeholders to deliver output on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate small to medium campaigns including planning, creative and delivery.
  • Monitor and report on weekly performance to make data‑driven recommendations to optimise campaigns and testing plans.
