We're looking for a dynamic Marketing and Communications Lead to drive the communications strategy for the South West CTEC (Construction Technical Education Centre) Programme. This flagship initiative connects education, employers and government to strengthen construction skills across the region.

What you’ll be doing

Leading the marketing and communications strategy for the South West CTEC Programme.
Building and managing a dynamic website and digital presence that informs, connects and inspires.
Planning and delivering high-profile regional conferences, launch events and stakeholder showcases.
Creating and curating compelling content - from social media campaigns and video to news stories and reports.
Acting as a trusted communications advisor across the programme, ensuring brand consistency and impact.
Collaborating with partners, providers and employers to tell success stories and champion the value of construction skills.

Experience in education, construction or public-sector communications would be an advantage but above all, we're looking for creativity, initiative and the drive to deliver meaningful impact.

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing and communications activity.
  • Strong digital skills, particularly in website management and social media strategy.
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills.
  • The ability to build relationships and influence at senior levels.
