Job summary

Morrisons Market Street butcher counter is looking for an experienced butcher to join the team. You will cut, bone, mince and prepare primals to company specs while delivering friendly service to in-store and online shoppers.

Join a fast-paced counter role with safe handling of knives, saws and mincing machines, ensuring displays are well-stocked and appealing throughout the trading day.

Qualifications

• Experienced in cutting, boning, and preparing different meats to a high standard.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced counter environment and handle specialist butcher equipment safely.
• Excellent customer service and willingness to assist shoppers with product queries.

• Put customers first: Deliver outstanding, friendly service highlighting fresh products and prepare custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers.
• Prepare quality cuts: Cut, bone, steak, dice, mince, season, and wrap primals to company specifications using specialist equipment.
• Maintain vibrant displays: Keep meat counters and pre-packaged displays well-stocked, fresh, and attractive throughout the trading day.
• Keep operations safe and smooth: Work safely with knives, saws, and mincing machines, upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards.

You’ll bring a proactive approach to the butcher’s counter - handling, cutting, and presenting meat to company specs, helping both in-store and online shoppers get exactly what they need for their meals.
