Morrisons Market Street in Scotland is seeking a butcher to join our fresh counters, delivering high quality cuts and outstanding service to local shoppers.

You will cut, bone, dice, mince and wrap meat to company standards, maintain displays, and help both in-store and online customers with their meat needs.

Formación

• Experienced in cutting, boning, and preparing different meats to a high standard.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and confident using butchery equipment safely.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to help customers and answer product queries.
• Willing to lend a hand across other Market Street fresh counters to support store colleagues.

• Prepare quality cuts: Cut, bone, steak, dice, mince, season, and wrap meat primals to company specifications.
• Maintain vibrant displays: Keep fresh meat counters and pre-packaged displays well-stocked and attractive.
• Keep operations safe and smooth: Use knives, saws, and mincing machines while upholding health and safety standards.

Our fresh counters are a huge part of what makes Market Street special. From preparing primals to delivering customer cuts, our Butchers use skilled craft to serve up top-quality British meat for our local shoppers every day.

You’ll bring a proactive approach to the butcher’s counter - handling, cutting, and presenting meat to company specs, helping both in-store and online shoppers get exactly what they need for their meals.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Deliver outstanding, friendly service that highlights our fresh products, preparing custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers alike.
• Prepare quality cuts: Cut, bone, steak, dice, mince, season, and wrap meat primals to exact company specifications using specialist equipment.
• Maintain vibrant displays: Keep fresh meat counters and pre-packaged displays well-stocked, fresh, and attractive throughout the trading day.
• Keep operations safe and smooth: Work safely with specialist tools like knives, saws, and mincing machines, upholding strict health, safety, and hygiene standards.
