Job summary

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in London is seeking a Risk Framework Officer (Analyst/Associate) to join our Market Risk team. The role emphasizes monitoring market risk, producing analytics, and partnering with Front Office traders to ensure robust risk management across a wide range of financial products.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in Market Risk or a related quantitative field, with a Mathematics/Physics degree and strong Excel, SQL, and VBA skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in Market Risk, Product Control, Risk Reporting or another quantitative role within financial services.
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Understanding of financial markets and derivative products; knowledge of VaR, P&L attribution, stress testing and risk limits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market risk exposures, trading limits and key risk indicators daily.
• Produce, analyse and certify daily P&L reports and explain movements.
• Generate and monitor risk metrics including VaR, stress testing, sensitivities and regulatory reporting.
• Investigate risk limit breaches and collaborate with Front Office traders and Risk teams.
• Prepare risk dashboards and MI for senior stakeholders and risk committees.
• Support regulatory reporting, market data governance and valuation processes.
• Contribute to new product approval from a Market Risk perspective.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls and data quality.
