Job description
Overview

A Day in the Life of an Ipsos Field Market Research Interviewer

It’s Wednesday afternoon. You’ll be scheduled for a 6-hour shift (starting around 1 or 2pm), with pre-booked shifts that may include both weekdays and weekends between 9am and 8pm. You’ll need a car, business insurance, and a valid driver’s license for this job. Your mission is to chat with people about their opinions and experiences at their doorstep, going door-to-door to invite participation in surveys. Training is provided to build confidence in approaching people, and mileage reimbursement is offered for your travels.

You’ll use a company-provided tablet to record responses, so there’s no need to manage paperwork. Your work helps businesses and organizations make decisions that impact communities.

What you’ll do
  • Go door-to-door to invite people to participate in surveys and record their responses on a company-provided tablet.
  • Receive training to feel confident in approaching people, including those who aren’t expecting a visit.
  • Earn mileage reimbursement for your travels.
What makes Ipsos special

  • We provide award-winning training to set you up for success.
  • We are socially conscious with BELONG networks to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
  • We follow environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles to minimise our environmental footprint and promote sustainability.
Perks and benefits
  • Ipsos More: Discounts on clothing, holidays, household goods, and everyday shopping essentials.
  • Ipsos Wellbeing: Resources to support wellbeing, with tips on activity, healthy eating, and mindfulness.
What we’re looking for
  • You love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
  • You’re comfortable starting conversations and putting people at ease, even in unexpected situations.
  • You’re looking for a part-time gig with flexible hours (at least 12 hours per week in pre-booked 6-hour shifts) and the ability to be your own boss.
  • You’re passionate about your community and want to help shape its future.
