Job description
Overview

A Day in the Life of an Ipsos Field Market Research Interviewer

Imagine it: you’re heading out for a scheduled 6-hour shift (starting around 1 or 2pm), with a mix of weekdays and weekends between 9am and 8pm. You’ll be going door-to-door to chat with people about their opinions and experiences, inviting them to participate in surveys. Ipsos provides all the training you need to feel confident approaching people, even if they weren’t expecting a visit. You’ll use a company-provided tablet to record answers, and mileage reimbursement is provided for your travels. This role helps businesses and organisations make decisions that impact your community.

You’ll need a car, business insurance, and a valid driver’s licence. Having these supports your ability to complete the shifts and meet the role’s requirements.

You’ll be making a real difference by gathering information that informs decisions in your community.

Why Ipsos
  • We’re committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Ipsos has been recognised by The Times as one of the top 50 companies for gender balance in the UK for two years running.
  • We provide award-winning training to set you up for success.
  • We’re socially conscious and support inclusive environments through our BELONG networks.
  • We follow ESG principles to minimise our environmental footprint and promote sustainability.

Plus, as an Ipsos interviewer, you’ll have access to:

  • Ipsos More: discounts on clothing, holidays, household goods, and everyday shopping essentials.
  • Ipsos Wellbeing: resources to support your wellbeing, with tips on staying active, eating well, and mindfulness.
What this job might be for you if
  • You love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
  • You’re comfortable starting conversations and putting people at ease, even in unexpected situations.
  • You’re looking for a part-time role with flexible hours (at least 12 hours per week over pre-booked 6-hour shifts) and the freedom to be your own boss.
  • You’re passionate about your community and want to influence its future.
