Job summary

Tribus People Limited is seeking a Market Insights Executive to join our South Devon team on a hybrid basis. You will research companies and emerging market categories, conduct conversations with businesses to understand products and positioning, and translate findings into actionable insights.

The role blends independent research with stakeholder engagement, requiring strong written communication, critical thinking and comfort using digital and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience researching complex or unfamiliar subjects.
• Experience interviewing, questioning or engaging with external stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills.
• The ability to turn large amounts of information into clear conclusions.
• Confidence using digital and AI tools.
• A relevant Master’s degree or strong academic research background could also work well, particularly if you can demonstrate strong communication skills and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Researching companies, products and developing market categories.
• Carrying out detailed preparation ahead of external calls and meetings.
• Speaking directly with businesses to understand their products, positioning and place within the market.
• Leading conversations and asking thoughtful, informed questions.
• Producing clear, concise research briefs and recommendations.
• Identifying trends, gaps and useful market intelligence.
• Sharing relevant insight with colleagues across the business.
• Supporting outreach and developing relationships with external contacts.
• Using AI and digital tools to make research faster and more effective without compromising on quality.
