Oxford Knight is helping a leading quant and systematic hedge fund recruit a Market Access Platform Engineer in London. You will build and support systems interfacing with markets, brokers and data providers, enabling fast, reliable data flows.

You will collaborate with exchanges, vendors, traders and internal engineering to manage and improve global market data systems, spanning project management, operations and technical coordination.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial markets and exchange data feeds.
• Development and scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Attention to detail in documentation and task tracking.
• Proactive and able to drive initiatives to completion.
• Experience dealing with data is a plus.
• Some exposure to simple C++ changes/deployment will be a huge plus.

Joining the market access team, you’ll be responsible for building and supporting the systems that interface with markets, brokers, and data providers. This team is critical to supporting the firm’s growth and maintaining its technological edge.

The successful candidate will help manage and improve global market data systems by working closely with exchanges, vendors, traders, and internal engineering teams. This role spans project management, operations, and technical coordination.

Requirements:
