This Maritime Supplier Expeditor role at Carnival UK offers a unique blend of learning, growth, and hands‑on experience at the heart of our Procurement / Supply Chain department. This role is responsible for working with Maritime procurement and supply chain teams, Shore Operations teams, Fleet Technical Supply Teams, Maritime suppliers, and Accounts Payable. The role is to support Maritime business colleagues to manage the day‑to‑day delivery activity of the Supply Chain for all technical goods required to support the CUK fleet, the open order book, and receipts resolution.
The key measures are the % of On Time Delivery (OTD) deliveries to our warehouses and the management of the Receiving Resolution Queue to keep Suppliers in balance and prevention of service shortage due to payments issues.
The key day to day activity is to support the Maritime team, communicate to the suppliers to ensure goods are delivered as required, address supply issues, and resolve the receipt resolution queue to keep invoices moving. Customer relations is key to the role as is understanding the overall supply chain and procure to pay flow.
