Job summary

SubSea Craft is seeking a Networking Integration Engineer to enhance connectivity between our remote operations centres and state‑of‑the‑art maritime craft. You will design, implement, and manage robust communications infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure data flow in challenging marine environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in communications and networking roles.
• Strong understanding of network security fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel for field trials and deployments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement resilient and secure communications solutions, including PACE planning with automation, reliability and cybersecurity.
• Integrate and manage multiple communication methods (Satellite and RF) for a robust backbone.
• Ensure data transmission security and encryption across channels with access controls.
• Support installation, configuration and field trials of communications equipment with cross‑functional teams.
• Write and optimize secure configurations for routers, switches, and maritime network devices.
• Collaborate with software and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions and documentation.
• Troubleshoot network, communications and security issues both remotely and on-site.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in maritime communications.
