Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join the Maritime team. Responsibilities include preparing electrical deliverables, drafting specifications, and collaborating with clients. The role offers a hybrid working model, opportunities to visit project sites across the UK, and involvement in Maritime projects such as container terminals and offshore wind. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant engineering subject and experience in electrical design.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in relevant Engineering subject with significant post graduate experience.
• Working towards professional registration with the Engineering Council UK at Chartered (CEng) level.
• Experience in Maritime projects such as container terminals and offshore wind.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical deliverables with minimum guidance.
• Draft electrical specifications and review contractor designs.
• Collaborate with clients and provide project management support.
