Job summary

SYOS is seeking an Electrical / Avionics Production Team Lead to manage the electrical assembly, wiring, avionics installation and system integration of autonomous maritime vessels from the Fareham facility. This hands-on leadership role requires guiding a team of electrical technicians and production staff to deliver safe, on-spec and timely production.

You will drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, establish production processes and collaborate closely with Mechanical, Software, Systems

Qualifications

Experience in electrical, avionics or electronics production, assembly or integration.
Proven leadership of a production or technical team.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, power distribution and control systems.
Experience with avionics, marine electronics or sensor systems is advantageous.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate and support a team of electrical and avionics production technicians.
Allocate work, monitor progress and ensure production schedules are met.
Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the production team.
Oversee electrical assembly, panel wiring and avionics integration.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Software, Systems Engineering and Quality teams.
Lead electrical testing, fault-finding, inspection and commissioning.
