We're looking for an ambitious Sales Representative to join a well-established UK marine supply business, supporting vessels and ship managers across Scotland.

The Role

This is a field-based position, covering Aberdeen, Peterhead, Montrose and other Scottish ports. You'll be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, and driving sales growth in your region.

You’ll spend much of your time visiting vessels and liaising with Masters, Chief Stewards, Ship Managers and Agents — identifying new opportunities, providing excellent customer service, and representing the business with professionalism and drive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily ship visits across Scottish ports to generate new sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vessel crews, ship managers, and agents
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell across the product range
  • Follow up new leads and support long-term customer retention
  • Network within the regional marine industry to boost brand presence
  • Update activity and opportunities using Salesforce CRM
  • Work with the wider sales and operations teams to execute regional sales strategies
About You
  • A proven background in sales or marine experience
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)
  • Flexible and adaptable - some early starts and travel to ports required

If you thrive on autonomy, enjoy meeting new people, and are motivated by results, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your career in a fast-moving, hands-on industry.
