Marine Field Service Engineer

What you’ll do:

  • Competent to complete service and repair work to Marine Diesel Generators (specific product training will be given). Experience is more important to us than qualifications, but we would prefer at least a college level education or a completed apprenticeship in engineering as base point.
  • We work in 3 different and demanding but interesting markets – Marine, Specialist vehicle and Military – so the ability and flexibility to work in all three sectors is vital.

What you need:

  • Trouble shooting and fault-finding skills are essential to this role.
  • Have a working understanding of Marine Electrical systems (AC and DC).
  • Able to work under their own initiative and as part of a small highly skilled team.
  • Have good timekeeping skills and capable of completing written work reports and documentation. Basic computer skills are required for this.
  • Able to travel (some working abroad is required as part of this role).
  • Must hold a full passport and able to work abroad.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence (company vehicle is supplied as part of this role).
  • Must be a good communicator as positive customer interaction is important.
  • Full time: Mon‑Fri 8.30am – 5pm

Pay and Benefits:
