I'm recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Leisure Marine Engineer to join a well-established UK boatyard that's growing fast and investing heavily in new projects. This is a brilliant role for someone who loves hands‑on engineering, variety in their day, and being part of a close‑knit, forward‑thinking team.

What you'll be doing
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on various leisure marine engines and drive systems
  • Servicing diesel and petrol engines
  • Installing outboard and inboard engines
  • Fitting and maintaining boat systems — propulsion, steering, generators and more
  • Working on fuel, hydraulic and water systems
  • Low‑voltage electrical installation, upgrades, and fault‑finding
  • Producing accurate job timings, parts lists and clear engineering reports
Who we're looking for
  • A background in leisure marine engineering is ideal
  • Strong mechanical experience from automotive or agricultural sectors will also be considered
  • Someone who works to exceptionally high standards and takes pride in getting the job done right
  • A team player with great attention to detail and a strong awareness of health & safety
  • Someone flexible enough to support additional hours during busy periods
