The Actuary is recruiting an experienced Pricing Actuary to join a growing Marine & Cargo team in London. The role focuses on developing pricing capability, improving pricing sophistication, and supporting portfolio performance and risk selection.

You will design and enhance pricing models, support underwriting decisions, and contribute to capital allocation initiatives. The role offers exposure across underwriting, exposure management, and reserving with a broad business impact.

Competenze

• FIA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience pricing Commercial Marine & Cargo in Lloyd's or London Market.
• Strong Python, R and/or SQL skills.
• Experience with HX pricing software would be beneficial.
• Mentoring or people management experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and maintain pricing models across Marine & Cargo.
• Partner with underwriters to define rating structures and pricing tools.
• Utilise data sources to improve pricing accuracy and portfolio performance.
• Develop pricing templates and models for underwriting teams.
• Support pricing software implementation and ongoing development.
• Collaborate with Exposure Management on portfolio accumulations andCAT exposures.
• Act as pricing SME, providing technical support and enhancements.
