We are inviting talented researchers holding a PhD and with no more than eight years of experience in research to prepare a competitive Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA‑PF) proposal with the University of Bath as Host Institution.

The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to support researchers' careers by providing opportunities to gain international experience, acquire new skills, and expand professional networks. As a Fellow in our group, you will:
Selected applicants will receive detailed support in preparing the application from the host supervisor at all stages of the process, from early draft, including advice related to budgets and facilities required. Our Research Development team can offer additional lay feedback and advice on proposal drafts to ensure their competitiveness.
Your main supervisor will be Dr. Alejandro Jiménez Rios . He is a Lecturer in Structural Engineering and the History, Conservation, and Management Co‑Leader at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, University of Bath. Having successfully completed a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF) in the past himself, he brings a wealth of experience in navigating the intricacies of the application process, as well as a deep understanding of the high standards expected by evaluators.
The DTADD fellowship allowed him to refine his skills in developing robust research proposals, articulating clear objectives, and aligning project goals with broader scientific and societal impacts. He gained first‑hand experience in executing interdisciplinary projects, managing international collaborations, and leveraging networking opportunities to enhance research visibility and impact. This background equips him with the insights necessary to guide prospective candidates in crafting competitive proposals, formulating well‑defined research methodologies, and addressing key evaluation criteria. His familiarity with MSCA's requirements and expectations will be invaluable in mentoring candidates through the preparation process, helping them to highlight their strengths, and positioning their projects for success.
