Job summary

Invenire Group is seeking a Margin & Collateral Specialist in London to own cross-asset collateral management and margin analytics. You will analyse margin requirements, forecast liquidity needs and drive efficiency across the portfolio while collaborating with Treasury, Risk, Operations and Trading teams.

The role requires experience in hedge funds or similar trading environments with a strong foundation in margin methodologies and automation. A proactive, analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years’ experience in hedge funds, investment banks, asset managers or analytics environments.
• Strong understanding of margin and collateral management across derivatives.
• Experience with Initial Margin and Variation Margin across multiple product types.
• Knowledge of SIMM/UMR and CCP/Prime Broker margins is beneficial.
• Cross‑asset product knowledge across Rates, FX, Equities, Credit or Commodities is desirable.
• Experience with margin forecasting, analytics, collateral optimisation or stress testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee margin and collateral requirements across brokers and counterparties.
• Analyse Initial Margin and Variation Margin across OTC, cleared and exchange-traded derivatives.
• Develop and enhance margin forecasting and liquidity-planning capabilities.
• Analyse drivers behind margin requirements and investigate material changes.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Operations, Risk, Trading and Technology to improve processes.
• Support daily collateral processes including margin calls, reconciliations and disputes.
• Help develop and automate internal margin, collateral and reporting tools.
• Contribute to broader Treasury and financing initiatives such as counterparty and portfolio optimisation.
