Capgemini is looking for a Manufacturing Tooling Engineer, who will be a key technical authority driving the design, development, and implementation of Aerospace and Defence manufacturing tooling and fixtures. Using CREO CAD and your deep understanding of manufacturing processes, you'll deliver high‑performance tooling solutions that enhance production efficiency and quality. Responsibility include:
Tooling Design & Development: Lead the creation and refinement of aerospace and defence manufacturing tooling and fixtures using CREO CAD, ensuring alignment with engineering and production needs.
Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority for tooling design, improvements, and repairs across multiple projects, offering expert guidance and oversight.
Manufacturing Issue Resolution: Drive root cause analysis and resolve tooling‑related challenges to minimize production disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
Cost & Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate non‑essential design/process elements to reduce production costs while maintaining high quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between manufacturing teams, suppliers, and procurement to address technical concerns and ensure smooth project execution.
Testing & Documentation: Support tooling validation through functional and environmental testing, and produce detailed technical documentation including specs, instructions, and reports
