Job summary

Gordon Murray Group seeks a Manufacturing Design Engineer – Jigs & Fixtures to design, develop and deliver production tooling for high‑quality vehicles. You will own tooling projects end-to-end, collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Technicians and Suppliers, and drive cost-aware, safe, and robust tooling solutions.

Based at Windlesham with occasional support to Dunsfold, you will apply your CATIA V5 skills, 3DEXPERIENCE know‑how and NPI experience to deliver efficient,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in tooling, jig and fixture design for automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ISO drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production tooling, jigs and fixtures for vehicle assembly.
• Own tooling projects from concept through to handover and cost control.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers to optimise tooling.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support shop-floor activities and implement continuous improvement.
