Job summary

VanRath Search & Selection is seeking a Manufacturing & Test Technician in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. The role involves functional testing, assembly of products and sub-assemblies, and troubleshooting analyzers to component level.

You will work in a high‑tech environment with emphasis on quality, safety and continuous improvement, reporting to the operations team in a modern facility that serves international clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical/manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, troubleshooting and testing.
• Familiarity with assembly, soldering and quality inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisation.
• Proactive communicator and team contributor.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing on products and document results.
• Assemble products and sub-assemblies including light mechanical tasks and soldering.
• Troubleshoot analyzers to component level and resolve issues.
• Inspect incoming components to ensure quality.
• Support continuous improvement by documenting changes and requests.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
