A leading engineering firm in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to ensure the production of critical diagnostic products. This role requires at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing and relevant qualifications, with a focus on quality control and process improvement. Ideal candidates are skilled in digital tools and communication. Offering a competitive pay rate of £8-£13 per hour for a 12-month term with potential for extension.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our high-performing Operations team
Location: Birmingham, UK (Onsite Lab)
Duration: 12 Months (High potential for extension)
Pay Rate: £8- £13 per hour
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 16:30 (37.5 hours/week)
As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will ensure the seamless production of critical diagnostic products by:
Education: GCSE level or equivalent. A relevant degree is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is essential.
Technical Skills: Proven digital literacy (including MS Excel), strong documentation and communication skills, and proficiency with basic mathematical concepts and units of measurement.
Quality Focus: Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and a strong ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
