Job summary

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to mixers, blenders, tablet presses, encapsulation machines, and packaging lines.


• Perform in-process checks and record data accurately according to batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Execute cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing equipment and production areas.


• Prepare and stage raw materials and components for production runs.


• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to maintenance or supervisors.


• Adhere to all safety guidelines, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


• Complete all necessary documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and incident reports, in a timely and accurate manner.


• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency.


• Assist with equipment calibration and preventative maintenance activities as required.


• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., manufacturing technology, biotechnology) preferred.


• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.


• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory requirements.


• Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data recording.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.


• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
