Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Stafford seeks a Manufacturing Team Member to support the production of electro-mechanical products, performing assembly, inspection and testing to high quality, safety and efficiency standards.

You will help meet production targets while applying Lean principles and driving continuous improvement. Shift pattern includes Mon-Thu 7:00–15:30 and Fri 7:00–12:00; private health insurance and a supportive environment add to the opportunity to grow within a leading manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Following all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and safe working practices
• Building, testing, and repairing products in line with manufacturing plans and quality standards
• Carrying out assembly, inspection, and testing activities using approved procedures and documentation
• Ensuring products meet required quality standards and standard operating instructions
• Working efficiently within defined manufacturing processes to achieve production goals
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying process improvements where possible
• Performing routine workstation maintenance and supporting 5S audits
• Contributing to productivity and operational KPIs
• Supporting additional manufacturing duties across the facility as required
• Working collaboratively as part of the wider manufacturing team

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Manufacturing Team Member to join our team in Stafford. This role is essential to supporting the production of high-quality electro-mechanical products, ensuring assembly, inspection, and testing activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You will play a key role in helping the business achieve production targets while maintaining strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement through the application of Lean manufacturing principles.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Following all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and safe working practices


• Building, testing, and repairing products in line with manufacturing plans and quality standards


• Carrying out assembly, inspection, and testing activities using approved procedures and documentation

• Monday to Thursday: 7am to 3.30pm, and,


• Friday: 7am to 12pm
