About the Role:
Solution 47 Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering company based near Great Chesterford. Known for quality and stability, they're now looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of their CNC- Welding and Production machine shop.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist or setter/operator ready to take the next step, or someone already leading a small team on the shop floor.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading a small team of CNC machinists (turning, milling, sliding head)
• Coordinating daily workloads and ensuring production runs smoothly
• Supporting with setups, troubleshooting and general workflow
• Ensuring quality, output and safety standards are maintained
• Communicating with planning and engineering to keep things on track
• Mentoring junior team members and helping maintain a clean, efficient workshop

What You'll Need:

• Solid background in Engineering in general
• Experience in a Supervisory role, team leader or supervisor role
• Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Confident communicator and natural organiser
• Hands-on, supportive approach and a keen eye for quality
