Job summary

INDWARE is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Woking to lead a team of Quality Inspectors in a fast-paced, on-site environment. You will balance hands-on inspection with leadership duties, driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Start ASAP; hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00am - 14:00pm, with a focus on coordinating inspection activities and maintaining high standards across all processes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in automotive/high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience writing work instructions and investigating quality issues.
• Experience implementing corrective actions and layered audits.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Work Instructions, SOPs, and Test Plans.
• Lead and support a team of 5-10 Quality Inspectors.
• Conduct Level Zero investigations and root cause analysis.
• Plan and coordinate inspection activities.
• Carry out layered audits and process conformance checks.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure teams have the correct tools, PPE, and documentation.
• Support hands-on inspection activities where required.

Position: Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Woking

Salary: £16.00 per hour

This dynamic Supervisor role offers a unique blend of hands-on responsibilities and leadership duties, perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. This role is based on-site at a prestigious location in Woking, where you will lead a team of Quality Inspectors and drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key duties and responsibilities:
