Job summary

Agratas – A Tata Enterprise in the United Kingdom is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to ensure availability, performance, security and recoverability of SQL Server databases underpinning MES and plant operations.

You will implement HA/DR, perform tuning, manage security and audits, automate tasks with T-SQL and PowerShell, and collaborate with OT/IT, engineering and vendors to maintain 24x7 reliability in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with HA/DR and routine DR testing.
• Knowledge of database security, access controls, and auditing.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rota and support out-of-hours operations.
• Scripting and automation using T-SQL and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SQL Server databases for MES, quality, traceability, scheduling, and plant reporting.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support for incidents affecting production; participate in on-call rota.
• Implement and operate HA/DR solutions, backup, and recovery testing.
