Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Dixie Products facility in Darlington, SC. You will lead a production team of ~30 on shift to ensure safe, efficient operations, while aligning with site goals and performance metrics.

The role requires supervising experience in manufacturing, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn SAP and ICP-AQ. A 12-hour rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn SAP and ICP-AQ.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members toward excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance.
• Establish Safe Quality Food culture and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Connect team members to the site vision and develop skills to meet metrics.
• Partner with leaders and address skill gaps to build operating capability.
• Collaborate to improve equipment and processes and enhance capability.
• Set shift priorities aligned with site objectives.
• Manage shift performance metrics including safety, quality, OEE, and staffing.
• Assess hazards and risks, evaluate controls, and resolve issues.
