Job summary

Leonardo UK, a global leader in Aerospace, Defence and Security, seeks a project management professional to oversee manufacturing activities for timely, cost- effective delivery. You will manage product dependencies, risks and opportunities, and drive performance through clear reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Applicants should demonstrate experience with MS Office, especially Excel, and the ability to work autonomously within a team.

Job description

hackajob is partnering directly with Leonardo to hire for this role. Job Description: Salary: £53,269 - £64,500 Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is bench marked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and plan all manufacturing activities required for successful delivery.
  • Management and identification of product dependency.
  • Product risk and opportunity management.
  • Achievement of product delivery to schedule, cost and quality.
  • Lead the manufacturing input into bid activities for new business.
  • Management of internal and external stakeholders / customers relationships
  • Internal reporting to IPT Lead and/or Sector VP
  • Presentation at Sector and Line of Business performance reviews to present product summary status
  • Ensure adherence to company's Lifecycle Management (LCM) as required and tailored to specific needs
  • Internal liaison with Capability Managers to help define Product Roadmaps
  • Liaison with Functional groups to ensure projects are appropriately resourced to achieve successful execution
  • Accountability for contract and project milestone delivery.

What you'll bring Experience of different Project Management techniques and when/how to use them. Experience in developing and maintaining internal/external Customer and Supplier relationships. Proactive, dynamic individual with proven stakeholder management, organisational, interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills. Strong experience of using MS Office applications, especially Excel is required. Evidence of ability and planning to work both autonomously and within a team environment. Energetic, team player, and keen to develop further. This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
