Are you an experienced planner looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing company? We have an opening for a Manufacturing Planner working for a large company based in Stourport.

The manufacturing planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery and optimal use of resources. The role requires advanced excel skills and hands-on experience with Sage to manage data, forecasts and production plans accurately.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain production plans and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate planning and production data within Sage, including works orders, stock levels and bills of materials.
  • Liaise with production, procurement and sales teams to align plans with material availability and customer requirements.
  • Monitor production progress, identify risks and delays and implement corrective actions.
  • Advanced working on Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) to demand, capacity and performance.
The right candidate
  • Experience in planning or production planning.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • Ideally, manufacturing Sage experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organised with time‑management experience.
  • Worked in a busy manufacturing company.
  • Willing to commuter across two sites when needed.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pm.
