Job summary

Langham Recruitment has partnered with an advanced manufacturing business to recruit a Contract Manufacturing Planner for an onsite role in Snetterton. The contract is 3-6 months with likely extension, paying £300 - £350 per day Outside IR35.

The successful candidate will manage production schedules, optimise MRP parameters and drive inventory accuracy while supporting process improvements across Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, scheduling and inventory management.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments (auto/aerospace or similar).
• ERP experience with listed systems.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Able to quickly identify issues and implement improvements.

We're partnering with an advanced manufacturing business seeking an experienced Contract Manufacturing Planner to support a period of operational transformation and business improvement.

Joining a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in production planning, MRP optimisation, inventory accuracy and process improvement, helping to ensure materials and resources are aligned to production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules and material plans.
• Optimise MRP outputs and planning parameters.
• Ensure material availability while controlling inventory levels.
• Support inventory accuracy, stock takes and cycle counting activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Manufacturing Planning, Production Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong understanding of MRP, production scheduling and inventory management.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or similar environments.
• ERP experience such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or Epicor.
• Strong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skills.
• Able to quickly identify issues and implement practical improvements.

Rate

• 3-6 month contract with likely extension
