Manufacturing Operator / Warrington / Mon to Fri / £12.78 per hour / 6 month contract / 37.5

We're currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join the Packaging Team of our client's production facility in Warrington. This is a 6-month temporary contract offering hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. If you're detail‑oriented, reliable, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

The Packaging Team plays a critical role in preparing products for customer use. You'll responsible for ensuring items are securely packaged, accurately labelled, and meet quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Packaging Assembly: assemble boxes, inserts, labels, and other components to ensure secure packaging.
  • Labelling: apply correct product and safety labels for identification and compliance.
  • Quality Control: inspect packaging for defects or inconsistencies and take corrective action as needed.
Skills & Attributes
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately.
  • Strong time management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and working with hazardous materials.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Awareness of COSHH and interest in scientific or engineering processes.
  • Manual handling required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Required: At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or lab settings.
  • Preferred: Experience in cGMP environments, cleanrooms, or handling hazardous materials.
  • Education: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.
