Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Basingstoke. The role involves operating packaging equipment, following safety and quality standards, and ensuring efficient production. Qualifications

• Must follow PPE rules (safety boots, safety glasses, no jewellery/makeup).
• Able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and use hand tools.
• Experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments is preferred.

Overview

Manufacturing Operator

Location: Basingstoke

Shifts: Rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Pay: £13.79 per hour

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and quality standards
• Set up materials and equipment based on work orders
• Operate and monitor conveyor and packaging equipment
• Fill, weigh, label, seal, and pack products
• Inspect materials and products for quality
• Complete production paperwork accurately
• Perform line clearance (cleaning, reconciling materials)
• Keep work areas clean and follow all GMP and ISO requirements

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments (preferred)
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using hand tools
• Must follow PPE rules (safety boots, safety glasses, no jewellery/makeup)
