Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is hiring a Manufacturing Operative in Ossett, UK. You will join a fast-paced global factory team, handling mixing and packing of dry ingredients on automated and manual lines, with a 25kg lifting requirement and night shifts Sunday to Wednesday 6:00pm–6:00am.

We value self-motivated, proactive individuals who can meet deadlines, work safely, and follow GMP/HACCP standards while contributing to team success and on-time production.

Qualifications

• Self-starting, proactive and keen to learn and develop new skills.
• Comfortable working at pace in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Target driven with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to lift bags up to 25kg.
• Good team player with a positive and reliable approach to work.
• Able to work a night shift pattern, Sunday to Wednesday 6:00pm to 6:00am.
• Previous experience in the food industry is desirable.
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Awareness of basic food hygiene requirements.
• Reach Fork Lift Truck licence would be advantageous.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit self-starting, proactive individuals who are keen to learn and develop new skills. You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced global food ingredients manufacturer, therefore, you will be comfortable working at pace, be target driven and have the ability to meet deadlines. A Reach Fork Lift Truck licence would be advantageous.

As a Manufacturing Operative you will be responsible for a whole range of duties including mixing and packing dry ingredients using both automated and manual packing lines. You will need to be physically fit and able to lift bags up to 25kgs in weight.
