An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operative to join a reputable manufacturing company specialising in the design and production of automotive components and accessories, particularly for original equipment (OE) applications.

As a Manufacturing Operative, you will be responsible for testing, assembling, and evaluating components to ensure operational quality. This full-time role offers a salary range of £23,800, increasing to £25,000 after probation.

Responsibilities
  • Operating testing equipment to assess component performance and safety
  • Performing electrical and pressure tests on components
  • Assembling parts using hand-held battery tools
  • Conducting visual inspections, including weld quality
  • Preparing tools and equipment, including routine maintenance
  • Arranging parts for next-stage processes with proper storage and transport
  • Supporting quality evaluations and reporting any production issues
  • Handling and manoeuvring components
Qualifications
  • Previously worked as a Testing Operative, Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Tester, Test Operative, Test Technician or in a similar role.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous
  • Strong work ethic and focus on task completion
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
