Qualifications

  • Experience of working with industrial machinery within a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CNC machinery, ideal not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Use various machinery to manufacture products to meet customer specifications.
  • Cut larger components down to smaller components using CNCs.
  • Polish and debur products to remove rough surfaces and edges.
  • Document process and quality criteria in MRP system.
  • Ensure daily production and quality targets are met.

Overview

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Margate, Kent

Salary: up to £27,320 (£14.20 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 12pm

Our Client: Is a leading manufacturer of high-quality products that are supplied into defence, security and medical industries.

Role Summary

You will play a crucial role in the fabrication of products, ensuring they meet stringent customer specifications. This hands-on position involves operating machinery to shape and finish components and products.

Key responsibilities
  • Use of various machinery to manufacturing products to meet customer specifications.
  • Use machines such as CNCs to cut larger components down to smaller components.
  • Polish and debur products to remove any rough surfaces and edges.
  • Use of epoxy and resign to cast products.
  • Document process and quality criteria in MRP system.
  • Ensure that daily production and quality targets are met.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
