A specialist joinery firm in Magherafelt is looking for Workshop Operatives to join their team. The role offers full training and immediate starts, working Monday to Friday. Responsibilities

  • Check glass prior to glazing.
  • Arrange for re-making glass units if defects are reported.
  • Wrap finished products.

Fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning specialist joinery firm in Magherafelt as a Workshop Operative, with full training, permanent roles, and immediate starts available. About the role: Monday – Friday. Immediate start. 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm – 1:00 am (overtime rates apply). Award‑winning specialist joinery firm. Full training provided. Permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Fitting ironmongery (handles, locks, hinges etc) onto completed windows & doors.
  • Installing gaskets & weather seals onto completed windows & doors.
  • Fitting casements & sliding sashes onto window frames.
  • Checking of glass prior to glazing.
  • Arranging re‑make glass units if defects reported.
  • Wrapping of finished products.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting is involved.
  • Be able to work to high standards of workmanship, finish and quality.
  • Confident in sanding, pinning, painting and gluing and screwing panels together.

Location: Magherafelt. Salary: Competitive salary (dependent on role and experience). Contract type: Permanent. Working hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm – 1:00 am. Closing date: 21 Nov 2025.
