Are you an experienced production or manufacturing operative or machine operator looking for a new role that offers varied tasks and a great range of benefits?

We are looking for a Mill Operator - Pulper to join our team. You will be responsible for our stock preparation process ensuring the continuous flow of high-quality paper stock.

If you have experience in a factory or manufacturing environment and operating a forklift truck, we want to hear from you!

This is a shift based role of 2 days followed by 2 nights then 4 days off.

Please be mindful that within the operational part of our tissue mills, you may encounter some humidity, puddles on the ground from water residue, and a scent from waste‑water extraction. We minimise this as much as reasonably possible, however this is a common theme within a tissue mill setting, and we are committed to our 'Zero Harm by Choice' guiding principle.

About the Role

The focus of this Mill Operator role is to be able to operate the stock preparation to a high standard of safety and good housekeeping, handle finished goods and some warehouse duties.

This must be achieved while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and working in accordance with all health and safety procedures and standards.

Mill Operator - Pulper duties include:
  • To fully understand the Stock preparation process.
  • To be able to both start up and shutdown the Stock Preparation Plant safely and efficiently.
  • To have a good understanding of the different waste paper types.
  • To ensure the correct type and amount of waste and is used, by ratio & by volume.
  • To be able to safely wrap, unwrap, weigh, stack, move, load and unload wagons.
  • To ensure that all finished goods are stored in the correct manner
