Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operative in Brigg. The role involves working in a non-food production environment with rotating shifts. Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Operative for a client based in Brigg. This is a non-food environment.

Due to location, the successful candidate will live locally or have reliable transport.

This role begins in a temporary position but will lead to a permanent role for the right candidate, following a probationary period.

Shifts

Rotating patterns. Week 1 - 6am-2pm, Mon-Fri. Week 2 - 2pm-Midnight, Mon-Thurs (3-day weekend every second week).

Pay

£12.86 per hour

Skills
  • Experienced in working in a Warehousing/ Production environment or a similar role.
  • You must be happy to work in a team and individually where flexibility will be required across different departments where training will be given.
  • Experience of using a CNC machine would be advantageous.
  • You’ll be happy to work on a rotating shift-pattern with week 1 being 6am-2pm and week 2 being 2pm-12am.
  • Physically fit – the role may involve some lifting/moving materials around the Site.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Daily inspection of machines at the start and end of your shift.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately so that all production is recorded correctly.
  • Work within a team, and individually, to ensure maximum output.
  • Be a team player – further duties may need your help across the team so a degree of flexibility is required.
