MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in the Cheltenham area with their plans for growth and internal expansion. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent technician, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for performing essential works on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the site day to day.

The role will be working a permanent day shift, 07:30-16:00 Monday to Friday

The Job You’ll Do:
  • Manage and action all activities required of the onsite service
  • Working to agreed planned maintenance schedules to perform essential work on the production machinery.
  • Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
  • Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site
  • Customer liaison and assisting in meetings
  • Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety
About You:
  • Experienced of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment.
  • Possesses a willingness to be adaptable and flexible.
  • The ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision.
  • This is a ‘hands on’ position and demands a willingness to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be PC literate.
  • Have excellent communication skills
