Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in the East Midlands seeks a Manufacturing Managing Director to lead a £5.5m turnover manufacturing business. You will own full P&L, drive operational modernisation and unlock new commercial opportunities, accelerating growth from shop floor to boardroom.

You must come from a manufacturing or engineered products environment and will lead Lean/CI, automation initiatives, and a growing sales team to shape long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• Must come from a manufacturing, production, or engineered product environment.
• Senior operational/commercial leader with proven track record in scaling an industrial business.
• Experience introducing automation, data-led decision making and modern manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational Excellence: optimise capacity, streamline supply chains and embed Lean/CI on the shop floor.
• Accelerate Commercial Growth: lead and mentor sales team while developing new routes to market.
• Deliver Financial Performance: full P&L accountability to improve productivity, protect margins and grow profitability.
