Job summary

Accord Healthcare is seeking a Technical Operator/Manufacturing Line Lead in Fawdon, Newcastle. You will lead and operate manufacturing and packing lines, ensuring cGMP compliance and efficient production during weekly rotation shifts.

The role includes BMR/BPR sign-off, line handovers, KPI reporting, problem solving, and potential supervisory duties. You will support continuous improvement and act as a focal point for out-of-hours on-site activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy time-sensitive manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with other departments.
• Good PC skills and ability to work with standard software
• Willingness to lead, train and motivate a designated team.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and operate manufacturing and packing lines to maximise production efficiency while maintaining cGMP compliance.
• Take and sign off on BMR and BPR requirements for files/samples.
• Manage line handovers and ensure cGMP standards are followed.
• Adjust production as needed to hit OEE and productivity targets and escalate issues.
• Conduct line clearance checks and complete line log books.
• Report KPI indicators for the relevant area.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and liaise with other departments to resolve issues.
• Support productivity improvement plans and implement changes.
• Cover Team Leader duties during absences and oversee supervisory tasks when required.
• Be the main point of contact for out-of-hours working if on site.
