Job summary

Morrisons is hiring a Manufacturing Key Operative - Machine to join the production team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will run the production line, perform setups and calibration to ensure orders are met and compliant.

The role emphasises safety, hygiene, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to equipment effectiveness and waste reduction.

• Experience in a production environment with machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Physically active and able to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run the production line and conduct system set ups and calibration to ensure orders are met and compliant.

You will run the production line, conduct system set ups and calibration to ensure orders are met and compliant, and will aim to maximise overall equipment effectiveness to reduce waste, downtime and giveaway.

You'll be the kind of person who:

• Ideally has previous experience of working in a production environment with machinery
• Has strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Works well as part of a team and enjoys being physically active
• Has the ability to maintain concentration throughout shift where tasks are repetitive
• Is open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures
