Job summary

Nestlé is offering a 12-month Manufacturing Industrial Placement Scheme across multiple UK factory sites. You will support factory operations, help keep production lines running, and work with cross-functional teams on projects to deliver tangible improvements.

You will gain hands-on TPM and continuous improvement experience, with mentorship and relocation support. It’s ideal for penultimate-year Food Science or Engineering students willing to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing

• Willing to be mobile across the UK and learn in a manufacturing setting.

Scheme duration: 12 months

Salary: £26,000 per annum pro rata + excellent benefits

Location: Various factory locations across the UK

Work Pattern: Full time, 5 days per week in the factory

What will you do?

Join Nestlé’s 12-month Manufacturing Industrial Placement Scheme, where you will support a wide range of projects that will deliver results for our factory operations. You will be emersed into the daily operations of our factories helping to keep our production lines running smoothly and efficiently. Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and explore opportunities and contributing to the implementation of innovative solutions.

You will have the opportunity to engage in problem-solving sessions, analysing issues to propose actionable strategies, all whilst receiving guidance from our experienced mentors. This placement scheme will allow you to apply your academic knowledge whilst learning the intricacies of the manufacturing process within the context of the world's largest food and drink manufacturer.

Eligibility Requirements

You will need to have the right to work in the UK that is not time-limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion.

You will be in your penultimate year of study for a Food Science, Manufacturing or other related degree such as Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering , and you’ll need to be mobile across the UK - what's also important is your commitment to the scheme and your willingness to learn.
