Job summary

VanRath is recruiting an HR Generalist for a Craigavon manufacturing site. The role focuses on delivering HR services across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to leavers, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and site engagement.

Ideal candidates will have CIPD qualification and 3+ years post-qualification HR experience in manufacturing, with solid HRIS knowledge (SAP/SuccessFactors). The position is five days onsite with a supportive HR Manager and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification HR experience, ideally within manufacturing.
• CIPD qualified or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors or similar.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver training and generate insightful reports.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment efforts by developing job descriptions, advertising, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes including inductions, attendance, and leavers.
• Maintain accurate HR data on systems like SAP, ensuring compliance and preparing reports.
• Assist with health and safety initiatives, including risk assessments and accident investigations.
• Lead employee engagement activities and coordinate site training programmes.
• Support dispute resolution and foster positive employee relations within the site.
• Contribute to site HR KPIs and participate in site-wide HR and safety projects.
• Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and staff, ensuring policies are upheld.
