Matta Labs Ltd in London is hiring an ML Engineer to build an emerging class of foundation models for manufacturing. You will work at the intersection of software and hardware in real factories, tackling real-world data at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow for building foundation models (≤140 chars).
• Experience with data cleaning and building data loaders for ML pipelines (≤140 chars).
• Experience leading projects end-to-end in startups or research settings (≤140 chars).
• Familiarity with transformers, CAUSAL ML, and vision-language models (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Develop and iterate manufacturing foundation models and related AI components (≤140 chars).
• Ensure real-time inference on low compute hardware in factory environments (≤140 chars).
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate ML into the manufacturing OS (≤140 chars).
• Contribute to publications, demos, and products with practical impact (≤140 chars).
