Haughey Recruitment Ltd in Cookstown is assisting a manufacturing client in recruiting a Manufacturing ERP Controller. The role focuses on managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring accurate data, and optimising production planning.

You’ll drive improvements across production, purchasing, finance and IT. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years ERP manufacturing experience, strong D365 BC knowledge, and proven ability to implement system enhancements, train users and deliver reliable

• 3–5+ years' ERP-focused manufacturing/analyst experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central manufacturing and MRP modules.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, BOMs, routings, inventory management.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations and user training.
• Proficient in Excel; Power BI and SQL advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Degree, HNC or HND desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage Dynamics 365 BC configuration, integrations, updates and troubleshooting.
• Maintain manufacturing data: BOMs, routings and planning parameters.
• Oversee MRP, production schedules, capacity planning and inventory control.
• Produce dashboards on production performance, costs, waste and stock levels.

Job Role: Manufacturing ERP Controller in Cookstown

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing ERP Controller to manage and optimise its ERP systems, ensuring accurate manufacturing data, effective production planning and reliable reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong manufacturing and ERP knowledge, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, who can drive process improvements and work collaboratively across production, purchasing, finance and IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including configuration, integrations, updates and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing data, including bills of materials (BOMs), routings and production planning parameters.
• Oversee material requirements planning (MRP), production schedules, capacity planning and inventory control.
• Produce reports and dashboards covering production performance, costs, waste and stock levels.
• Support product costing, financial reconciliations and cost variance analysis.
• Lead ERP improvements, system rollouts, user training and change management initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, finance and IT teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 3–5+ years’ experience in an ERP-focused manufacturing, planning or analyst role, ideally within heavy manufacturing or steel fabrication.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly its manufacturing and MRP modules.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, BOMs, routings, inventory management and shop‑floor operations.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system improvements and user training.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI and SQL experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• A relevant degree, HNC or HND would be desirable.
• Eligibility to work in the UK or Northern Ireland.
