We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their Farnborough team, driving engineering excellence, process optimisation, and performance in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you'll lead a skilled engineering team and play a key role in developing world-class manufacturing processes. You'll partner closely with production, quality, and R&D to ensure precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the business.

Auxitrol Weston designs and manufactures advanced sensors for gas turbines and airframe applications, with operations spanning the UK, France, the USA, and Mexico. This is an opportunity for a hands‑on, forward‑thinking Manufacturing Engineering Manager who wants to make a tangible impact, improving productivity, driving innovation, and leading through technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and problem‑solving.
  • Oversee industrialisation (NPI) and ensure robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
  • Deliver productivity projects and measurable year‑on‑year performance improvements.
  • Manage tooling, process capability, and industrial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and HSE standards.
  • Report and forecast performance metrics across Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed innovation and operational excellence.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles, PPAP, and APQP.
  • Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks or Creo preferred).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
